Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas are both coming off strong performances at the Masters, and will both compete at this week's RBC Heritage Open at Harbour Town Golf Links.

So, the question is, which golfer is the one you should back with your money?

WynnBET Sportsbook has given the two golfers the exact same odds to win, +1400, which would give you a profit of $1,400 on a $100 bet if the golfer you pick comes out victorious.

Let's break down which golfer is better suited to come out on top.

Collin Morikawa at the RBC Heritage

If you've read my betting preview, you already know I love Collin Morikawa this week.

Harbour Town fits his style of play to perfection. You have to be an accurate driver of the golf ball at this track, and Morikawa enters the event ranking ninth on Tour in driving accuracy. He also has good course history here, finishing seventh at this event last year.

If there's one thing that makes me nervous about Morikawa this week is his play around the greens. He ranked 176th in strokes gained: around-the-green, and 110th in scrambling. That could prove to be an issue with how small the greens are at Harbour Town. I'm hoping his strong iron play to help him hit as many greens as possible in regulation so that this issue doesn't ruin his chances of securing his first win of the season.

Justin Thomas at the RBC Heritage

To me, the decision between these two golfers is an interesting one. I wrote about why you should stay away from Justin Thomas this week in my "golfers to fade" article, but I'll expand on that thought here.

JT's biggest weakness is his driving accuracy, which showed at Augusta last week. At plenty of courses on the PGA Tour's schedule, you can get away with inaccurate tee shots. Harbour Town is not one of those courses.

You could argue that his course history (eighth place finish in 2020) proves that he can still find success at this track, and while I wouldn't argue against that too much, I still think Morikawa is the much smarter play.
