The Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears play an interesting, for lack of a better word, primetime matchup on Thursday Night Football

Let’s be honest, watching this terrible matchup isn’t going to be fun, so why don’t we bet on some props to keep our interest up?

I’m going to fade just about everyone in this game, but here are three of my favorite candidates for this Week 6 showdown:

Best Prop Bets for Commanders vs. Bears

  • Justin Fields UNDER 176.5 Passing Yards (-114)
  • Carson Wentz to Throw an Interception (-130)
  • Darnell Mooney UNDER 3.5 Receptions (-114)

Justin Fields UNDER 176.5 Passing Yards (-114)

The weather in Chicago isn’t expected to be good, with winds expected to be at around 20 miles per hour.

Justin Fields has cleared this line just one time this season, against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5, and he has just two games where he’s attempted over 20 passes. With bad conditions and a potentially run-heavy script, I’ll gladly take the UNDER on Fields’ passing yards this week.

Carson Wentz to Throw an Interception (-130)

Death, taxes and Carson Wentz throwing an interception.

Wentz has already thrown six picks in five games this season, throwing at least one interception in four of his five outings.

Ron Rivera has already called out Wentz’s poor play, and the Commanders are now on the road in bad conditions. If they try to throw the ball a lot, Wentz is almost a lock to throw a pick.

Fade him in Week 6.

Darnell Mooney UNDER 3.5 Receptions (-114)

How is this line for Darnell Mooney at 3.5 in a game with bad weather?

This season, Mooney has just 21 targets in five games, clearing 3.5 receptions just one time (Week 4 against the New York Giants).

Fields simply doesn’t throw the ball a ton, and Mooney hasn’t exactly established himself as the clear-cut No. 1 option in this offense in the passing game. 3.5 receptions is too many for me to take anything but the UNDER in Week 6.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
