The Players Championship is here!

One of the most iconic and fun PGA Tour events to bet on is set to take place this week at TPC Scottsdale, and we have everything you need to know to wager on the tournament right here at BetSided.

Yesterday, I broke down the full event as well as my top three picks to win. Today, I'm going to give you three long shot bets you should consider if you're looking to get aggressive with your wagers.

Let's dive into them. As always, the odds listed are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Long Shot Bets to Win The Players Championship

Luke List +15000

The absolute disrespect for Luke List this week is unbelievable. This is a guy who ranks second on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: tee-to-green, 17th in strokes gained: approach, 19th in strokes gained: around the green, and 10th in greens in regulation. Not only that, but he already has a win in a strong field at this year's Farmers Insurance Open.

Sure, he ranks 204th in putting, but if he can have a decent week with his flat stick, there's no reason he can't be in contention on the weekend. He's absolutely worthy of a sprinkle at 150/1. He's also available to bet on to finish in the top 20 at +500, which is a fantastic bet to make.

Kevin Kisner +15000

Kevin Kisner isn't exactly the most consistent golfer on Tour, but he can be a good bet when he competes at a course that fits his style of play. I think TPC Sawgrass does exactly that.

As I pointed out in my betting preview, the most important stat to look out for at TPC Sawgrass is driving accuracy, and Kisner ranks first on the entire Tour in accuracy off the tee. He also ranks 14th in greens in regulation and 23rd in strokes gained: putting. You can also bet on him to finish in the Top 20 at +700, which is tempting value to say the least.

Sebastian Munoz +17500

FanSided's Cody Williams has a plethora of picks locked in for this week's event, and you should definitely check out his full betting preview. The long shot bet that he gave out is Sebastian Munoz at +17500. As someone who sprinkled on Munoz last week, I have to agree with him. Here's what he had to say:

"As is often the case with Sebastian Muñoz, the greens have been his nemesis of late as he’s lost strokes putting in five straight starts. However, the rest of his game has been in tremendous form, which has led to him finishing T-26 or better in each of his last three starts. That form from tee-to-green indicates that he can make some noise if the putter is even average, which makes 175/1 odds too juicy to pass up as the longshot pick of the week."
