Two of the most exciting young teams in the AFC face off on Thursday Night Football, and we have plenty of playmakers to consider for prop bets in the action.

Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa, the two top quarterbacks selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, go head to head with their impressive receiving corps ready to do battle.

The Miami Dolphins sit at 3-0, but they are underdogs in this matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals

If you’re not sure about betting on a side or the total, why not take a stab at some props? Betting on individual players can be a fun way to take advantage of the markets in Vegas, and I have three props I’m eyeing ahead of this matchup:

Best Prop Bets for Dolphins vs. Bengals on Thursday Night Football

  • Ja’Marr Chase OVER 5.5 Receptions (-130)
  • Jaylen Waddle Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150)
  • Raheem Mostert UNDER 39.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Ja’Marr Chase OVER 5.5 Receptions (-130)

I love this line for Ja’Marr Chase, who has made 10, five and six catches through the first three weeks of the season while being targeted 35 times.

Chase is going to see around double-digit looks in every game this season, and even on a day where he had just 29 receiving yards in Week 3, he found a way to finish with six catches.

The Dolphins have a solid secondary, but they also have played in some fast-paced games. I think this has the potential to be a shootout, and that benefits Chase in every way.

Jaylen Waddle Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150)

This feels like a major value on Jaylen Waddle, who has three scores through the first three games of the season, and he’s been targeted 30 times so far, making 19 catches.

Tyreek Hill, who has two scores this season, is sitting at +120 to score, but he has two games without a score in 2022 to Waddle’s one.

Tua Tagovailoa loves looking Waddle’s way, and if this game turns into a shootout, both Miami receivers could certainly score. For what it’s worth, BetMGM has Waddle at +100 to score, os +150 at FanDuel is a solid value.

Raheem Mostert UNDER 39.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Raheem Mostert’s snap counts have increased in each week this season, but I’m fading him here against a sneaky solid Cincinnati run defense.

The Bengals are allowing just 3.7 yards per carry this season, and Mostert is averaging 3.3 yards per attempt on his 24 rushes in 2022.

Mostert did clear this line with 51 yards on 11 carries in Week 2, but he has 13 rushes for just 27 yards in his other two games. Chase Edmonds is going to get some of the work in this backfield, so unless Mostert breaks a big one, 40 yards seems like too many to ask in this game.
