Eagles, Patriots Among Biggest Risers in Latest Super Bowl Odds
By Ben Heisler
The Philadelphia Eagles were in such bad shape earlier this season, that WynnBET Sportsbook had them as high as +75000 to win the Super Bowl!
Now, you can get them at +10000, but after missing out at 750/1, 100/1 odds feels like you're getting the low end of the stick!
Philadelphia, along with the New England Patriots is playing its best football of the season heading into Week 12, and the Super Bowl futures odds at WynnBET are reflective of their positive swing.
Philadelphia Eagles' Playoff Chances and Odds
The Eagles were sitting at 3-6 back in Week 9 following a 27-24 defeat at home to the L.A. Chargers. Since then, they've reeled off two straight wins on the road at Denver, and at home against New Orleans to improve to 5-6 and remain in the NFC playoff race.
Even better news for Eagles fans? Their schedule might be the easiest down the stretch amongst any teams in the NFL. They go on the road for back-to-back weeks to take on the New York Giants and New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, but both teams share a combined record of 5-15 on the season.
Following a Week 14 bye, the Eagles face the Washington Football Team (4-6) twice in three weeks, host the Giants, and wrap the season against Dallas who will have all but likely wrapped up the division.
WynnBET has the Eagles still at +800 to win the NFC East, with the Cowboys ahead at -1500, but they should be favored in nearly every remaining game on the schedule, and could potentially win out to go 11-6.
New England Patriots Playoff Chances and Odds
The Pats have won five straight games following a 2-4 start and are now atop the AFC East division over the Buffalo Bills. While Buffalo remains the favorite to win the division at -170 odds, the Patriots have crept all the way up to +120.
Same with their Super Bowl odds. After being as high as +6000 to win the Lombardi Trophy at WynnBET, New England has climbed all the way up to +1400 at WynnBET. Their opening odds were at +3500 this season.
The Patriots' schedule, compared to that of the Eagles is far more challenging. They host the Tennessee Titans (8-3) before traveling to Buffalo (6-4) on Monday Night Football in Week 13. After a bye in Week 14, they're at a hot Indianapolis team, (6-5), host Buffalo, and finish with two easier matchups at home vs. Jacksonville, and on the road at Miami.
Between both clubs, the Patriots have garnered much more respect from the oddsmakers, but that's also a reflection of their 7-4 record compared to the Eagles' record of 5-6. However, for bettors that expect Philadelphia to make a run, their 100/1 odds at WynnBET won't last for much longer.
