The Kansas City Chiefs have become the worst bet in the NFL and it’s not even close.

They are now 1-12-1 against the spread in their last 13 games, including an 0-3 ATS record this season. Not only that, but they’re 1-2 straight up on the season, and are in sole possession of dead last in the AFC West.

If you know someone who could have predicted this, I’ll show you a time traveler.

Thankfully for them, they have a good bounce-back spot in Week 4 as they head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles who looked abysmal in their Monday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Somethings gotta give for the two 1-2 teams as they both look to rebound in a big way in Week 4.

The last time these two teams met was on Sept. 17, 2017 when the Chiefs won 27-20 in Kansas City.

Chiefs vs Eagles Prediction and Pick

The Chiefs are 1-12-1 ATS in their last 14 games but yet are STILL laying over a touchdown on the road. I know the Eagles looked bad on Monday night, but now they face quite literally the worst defense in the NFL.

Kansas City is dead last in opponent yards per play at 7.0. That’s 0.2 yards per play worse than the next worse defense which is the Minnesota Vikings at 6.8. Meanwhile, the Eagles defense has been a top 10 unit this season, allowing opponents to gain only 4.7 yards per play.

The Chiefs are also 30th in opponent rushing yards per play, allowing teams to gain an average of 5.4 yards on the ground against them. Now they face a team that’s second in yards per carry at the same number of 5.4.

At face value, you’d think the Chiefs would be able to run away with this one, but once you look into the numbers, it’s tough to justify laying 7.5 points with this Chiefs team right now.
