After a surprising division loss to the New York Giants last week, the Philadelphia Eagles head north to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets. The Eagles are a 6.5-point road favorite and hungry for a win in New Jersey.

Last week’s loss came at the worst time against the worst team in the division. The Eagles were on their way to the playoffs and now find themselves in a tough spot against the Jets of all teams.

Here are the updated odds for this Week 13 showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Eagles vs. Jets Prediction and Pick

The reason why the total fell a point and the moneyline odds are slightly shorter than the opening line is due to the injury to Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts. Hurts was able to practice in a limited capacity today with an ankle injury after taking reps in yesterday’s walkthrough. While he is trending toward playing, there is still a real possibility that he is unable to go against the Jets.

The Jets are the worst team in the NFL at stopping the run so if Hurts plays, it will be a massive boon for this offense. Luckily for Philly, Miles Sanders was a full participant in practice today after seeing limited work on Wednesday. The Eagles were eager to lean on their ground attack in recent weeks and that strategy should be deployed yet again here.

I still like the Eagles even if Hurts isn’t at 100 percent and would take a lean to the over as well. This is because the Jets are not only the worst defense against the rush, but there are two first-teamers from the front seven on the injury report. All the more reason to expect the Eagles’ rushing attack to have a day against the Jets.

Pick: Philadelphia Eagles -6.5 (-110)
