The 2022 NFL season is the second year with a 17-game regular season schedule, and it could lead to bettors finding some value in season-long player props, as we still don’t know what a typical 17-game year will yield.

One of the props that I am especially interested in is the touchdown passing props for each quarterback. A few teams don’t have their quarterback listed due to the starter being unknown, but DraftKings Sportsbook has the prop for over 25 of the league’s signal-callers.

With several key players switching teams, including quarterbacks Russell Wilson, Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan and Baker Mayfield, there is plenty of intrigue entering the 2022 campaign.

Here are the latest touchdown prop projections from DraftKings.

Justin Herbert Predicted to Lead NFL in Passing Touchdowns in 2022

Los Angeles Chargers rising star Justin Herbert is expected to lead the NFL in passing touchdowns with the highest season-long prop at 36.5.

Josh Allen (35.5) and Tom Brady (35.5) are tied for second on the list.

It’s hard not to get excited about Herbert, who threw for 31 scores in 15 games as a rookie and 38 scores in 17 games in his second NFL season. With the Chargers improving on defense this offseason, Herbert may not have to play in as many shootouts, but it’s hard to see him taking a step back after such a strong 2021 season.
