Same game parlays are built for prime time football.

It's the only football game we'll be watching at the time, so why not have a little bit of fun? Of course, parlays are always tough to hit, so I'd recommend risking less than you'd wager on a normal bet.

The New York Giants and Washington Commanders may not be the most talented teams in the NFL, but a spot in the NFC playoffs is likely on the line tonight as the winner will improve to 8-5-1 with a strong chance to make the postseason.

Let's dive into my favorite same game parlay for tonight's NFC East showdown.

Best Same Game Parlay Picks for Giants vs. Commanders

  • Commanders to win
  • Alternate total OVER 34.5
  • Terry McLaurin 70+ receiving yards
  • Daniel Jones 25+ rushing yards
  • Saquon Barkley anytime TD

Commanders Moneyline

The Commanders are set as 4.5-point favorites, but instead of messing with the spread in this close of a game, I feel a lot more comfortable just back the Commanders to win on the moneyline. The Commanders are, by all accounts, a better overall team than the Giants.

They lead them in net yards per play and the Giants have come back down to earth after a strong start to their season.

Alternate total OVER 34.5

Much like the spread, I'd rather take the OVER if we can make it a smaller number than the set total of 40.5. The two teams combined for 40 points in their 20-20 tie two weeks ago, so if they can get anywhere close to that level of offensive production, this leg of the parlay should be easy.

Terry McLaurin 70+ receiving yards

Terry McLaurin torched the Cowboys in their Week 13 game. The receiver snapped for eight receptions for 105 yards. He's averaging 72.7 receiving yards per game this season, so if he hits his season average tonight, this leg of the parlay will cash.

Daniel Jones 25+ rushing yards

Much like how McLaurin had a big game through the air in Week 13, Daniel Jones had a big game on the ground. He ran for 71 total yards on 12 carries. Now, he enters Week 14 averaging 42.2 rushing yards per game.

With how much is on the line in this game, we can expect Jones to do whatever he can, including running the ball himself, to get the job done.

Saquon Barkley anytime TD

Saquon Barkley has been quiet from a rushing yards stand point in recent weeks, but he's still managing to find the end zone. He has eight touchdowns on the season and he's the betting favorite to find the end zone tonight.

Expect the Giants to get him more involved in the pass game tonight as well. He already has 42 receptions on the season.
