Giants vs. Washington: Odds, Spread, Over/Under and Prediction for NFL Week 2
Washington and New York both left Week 1 losers. However, they don’t have time to wallow in their losses as they have a Thursday night matchup against each other. New York lost to Teddy “Two Gloves” Bridgewater and looked abysmal. Saquon Barkley was a non-factor and Daniel Jones wasn’t able to light up a talented Broncos defense.
Washington had a chance to win against the Los Angeles Chargers, but ended up losing the game and its quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick left the game with a hip injury, leaving Taylor Heinicke to captain the ship.
With a short turnaround and desperation seeping from these teams, this NFC East matchup should be a weird and interesting way to start the week.

Giants vs. Washington Prediction and Pick
A short week, a backup quarterback and all the weirdness that comes with Thursday night football is making me want to pick the Giants in this game. I just can’t. Heinicke was solid for Washington last year in the Wild Card Game and if his name is called on Thursday night, I’ll put my trust in him.
Also, the Giants have a terrible offensive line, and it’s going to be hard to keep up with Washington’s front seven all night long. Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley need to figure out how to turn on the jets because even without Fitzpatrick, Washington is very capable of walking away with a win.
