Heat vs. Kings Prediction and Odds: Despite Nagging Injuries, Miami Remains Red-Hot
By Matt De Saro
The Miami Heat are on the hunt for their sixth straight win as leaders of the Southeast Division with a 23-13 record. The Heat have just one loss in their last nine games and are coming off a 120-110 win over the Houston Rockets.
Miami remains two games out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference behind the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks. Jimmy Butler is coming off his best game of the season with 37 points and 11-for-11 from the free-throw line.
Miami will need him to continue to play at an MVP level like that in order to keep pace with the Bulls, Nets, and Bucks moving forward.
On the other side of the coin, the Sacramento Kings are clinging onto the 10th spot in the Western Conference after losing their last game against the Dallas Mavericks 126-96. Here are the odds for this Sunday afternoon showdown courtesy of WynnBET:

Heat vs. Kings Prediction and Pick
After struggling with injuries and COVID protocols, the Miami Heat have found the spark they had earlier in the season. They aren't exactly healthy, but they look strong.
Miami is back to winning games and is looking like the dangerous team that started the season. It should be noted that the Heat are far from being back to full strength and were without eight players in their last game. Luckily, Butler took over the game and put Miami on his back. It was a good sign that six players on the Heat, including Butler, finished in double-digits scoring.
Scoring has been the Kings’ biggest issue this season and is back to rear its ugly head after Sacramento thought their shooting woes were behind them.
The Kings barely shot 40 percent from the floor, made just 10 3-pointers saw no player go over 20 points in their most recent loss to the Mavs. Tyrese Haliburton led the team with 17 points and 10 dimes. But, the rest of the team really struggled, including De’Aron Fox, who scored just 10 points on the 3-of-14 shooting.
The Heat are not only better on paper, but they have been playing far better basketball of late. Considering Miami won its last five games by an average of 11.8 points, I am very comfortable taking the Heat to cover in their sixth straight straight-up win.
Pick: Miami Heat -4 (-110)
