The AFC Divisional Round Sunday nightcap features two of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the NFL, Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes. While both are amazing to watch, I wanted to take a minute here to focus on Allen and his prop betting value for this game. The full betting preview for this AFC clash can be found here. But, I wanted to dive deeper into Allen’s player props and make some predictions before game time. All prop odds listed are courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Allen Off Huge Game Against the Patriots

Allen is not only coming off a playoff win, but it was one of the best games he has ever played in the NFL. The superstar QB went 21-for-25 with 308 yards and five passing touchdowns. He added six rushes for 66 yards in a crushing defeat of the New England Patriots. What makes this performance even more impressive is that the Patriots' defense was considered one of, if not the, best defense in the playoffs.

The Chiefs have one of the best offenses in the NFL this season and, despite a strong defense, will be able to score on the Bills. This will lead to Buffalo turning to their biggest asset in Allen to put up points in bunches to keep pace with KC. While he might struggle to put up five touchdowns again, the Chiefs passing defense is far worse than the Patriots and Allen should make it rain.

What makes Allen particularly dangerous is his ability to make plays in the air and on the ground. In his last two games, he combined for 11 carries for 129 yards rushing. While one of those games was against the Jets, Allen ran for 66 yards against the Patriots' tough defense. Two weeks ago, Allen also scored twice on the ground against the Falcons. This leads me to feel positive about both Allen’s rushing yard total of 51.5 and his chance to score a TD at +115.

In his Week 5 game against the Chiefs, Allen went 15-26 with 315 yards and three touchdowns. He added 59 yards rushing and a touchdown off 11 carries.

The fact is that Allen has the talent to win this game and the Bills need him to go big or Buffalo will be heading home.
