The Green Bay Packers are the current favorites to win the Super Bowl at +325 according to WynnBET Sportsbook. However, they have a tough game tonight against the San Francisco 49ers to get past first.

Luckily, the Packers have a frontrunner for the MVP award in Aaron Rodgers calling the shots under center. However, the 49ers have one of the tougher passing defenses in the league and won’t just roll over and show their belly to the future Hall-of-Famer.

The Packers had a first-round bye and Rodgers only played a few series in their previous game. A loss to the Lions. But, in his last full game of action, he went 29-for-38 with 288 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings.

The full betting preview for tonight's game is available here. Let’s take a look over Rodgers’ player props for tonight at WynnBET Sportsbook and make a few predictions.

Aaron Rodgers Props vs. 49ers

  • Player total passing touchdowns 1.5: Over-240/Under +180
  • Player total passing attempts 34.5: Over-130/Under +100
  • Player total passing completions 24.5: Over-105/Under -125
  • Player total passing yards 265.5: Over-115/Under-115
  • Player total rushing yards 7.5: Over-105/Under-125
  • Anytime TD scorer: +500

Rodgers will have his work cut out for him

A good place to start here would be Rodgers’ passing yards total. The 49ers defense ranks ninth in the NFL in opponent yards per pass and sixth in total passing yards allowed per game at 207.8. Strong numbers to be sure. But, Rodgers is no run-of-the-mill QB who plays to averages. He is as above average as it gets. For example, Rodgers already succeeded against this defense in Week 3 when he passed for 261 yards in a 30-28 victory. Rodgers is also averaging 283.5 yards per game all-time in the playoffs. He went over this total in nine of the 15 games he started and finished this season. I think he is a strong bet to go OVER 265.5 tonight.

Other than that, I would avoid his rushing props, even if they do seem beatable. Rodgers is not a very mobile QB and has gone OVER this total just once in the last six weeks and has a season-high 21 yards. He does have three rushing touchdowns on the season, but I don’t see a QB sneak on the menu tonight.
