UPDATE: Brandin Cooks has officially been ruled out for Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Houston Texans may be without both of their top wide receivers on Thursday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Nico Collins has already been ruled out for this game, and Brandin Cooks appears to be on the wrong side of questionable after not being traded at this week's trade deadline. Cooks has been excused from practice this week for personal reasons but was also listed on the team's injury report with a wrist injury.

The Texans are just 1-5-1 on the season, and they are massive underdogs, and rightfully so, against the undefeated Eagles.

If Cooks is ruled out, Phillip Dorsett, Chris Moore and Tyron Johnson are next in line at the receiver position.

There's no way bettors or fantasy players should trust anyone in that trio of receivers, especially with Davis Mills at quarterback against one of the league's best defenses. So, how should you plan to bet on Houston in this matchup?

Here's my favorite prop target:

Best Dameon Pierce Prop Bets vs. Eagles in NFL Week 9

Even though the Texans scored just 10 points last week, rookie running back Dameon Pierce still found the end zone in garbage time. He's the team's only reliable option on offense, and you can still grab him at plus money to score tonight.

Since the start of Week 3, Pierce has at least 18 touches in every game for Houston. Lovie Smith has made it a point to get his rookie running back the ball, and he's delivered, scoring in four of the team's last five games.

If Cooks is out, this is Pierce's game for Houston.
