Bryce Young's injury has been the biggest story of college football Week 7 as No. 3 Alabama heads to Knoxville, Tennessee to face the No. 6 Volunteers on Saturday.

Young suffered a sprained AC joint in the Crimson Tide's win over Arkansas two weeks ago and cost him a game against Texas A&M last week in hopes of being ready for the Week 7 showdown.

Young, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, is of course integral to Alabama's success and his loss would be a crushing blow in this road matchup on Saturday afternoon. Here's the latest on the star quarterback:

Latest Injury Update for Bryce Young

Saban is tight-lipped as usual in terms of Young's availability, saying that he was getting re-evaluated earlier in the week.

Later in the week, Saban noted that Young was able to practice (in some capacity).

In a game of this magnitude, you won't get much from the Crimson Tide head coach but the expectation remains that Young sat out last week in hopes of being ready for the bigger task at hand.

After opening as an 8-point favorite, money has come in on the Vols side, maybe in preparation for Jalen Milroe to start his second consecutive game at quarterback. However, on Friday afternoon the line shot back up to -9. It appears that Young is in fact trending towards playing.
