Is Jarvis Landry Playing Tonight? (Latest Injury Update for Ravens vs. Saints in NFL Week 9)
By Peter Dewey
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Jarvis Landry has missed the team's last four games with an ankle injury, but he could return against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9 on Monday Night Football.
Landry practiced on Saturday, but he may be limited if he does suit up in this game. With Michael Thomas already ruled out for the season, the Saints could use Landry as an option alongside rookie Chris Olave.
If Landry is unable to go, the Saints will turn to Marquez Callaway, Tre'Quan Smith and Rashid Shaheed at receiver alongside Olave.
New Orleans is currently a two-point home underdog in Week 9. The loss of Thomas and Landry the last few weeks has led to more touches for running back Alvin Kamara, who scored three touchdowns in Week 8.
Best Jarvis Landry Prop Bets vs. Ravens in NFL Week 9
Since his status is up in the air, Landry only has props to score a touchdown up in Week 9.
After a huge Week 1 where he caught seven of his nine targets for 114 yards, Landry cooled off over the following three weeks, catching just eight passes for 54 yards.
I would stay away from his TD prop even if he's active, as the Saints have bigger weapons to target in the red zone, and they could go run heavy with Taysom Hill and Kamara.
Landry didn't catch a score in his first four games this season, so don't expect him to break through at less than 100 percent.
