It's Time to Back Dak Prescott After Latest Injury Update

Dak Prescott is getting healthy just in time for Week 1 and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback should be back on everyone’s radar as a bounce-back candidate for the 2021 season. 

Prescott, who’s been dealing with a shoulder injury, no longer has any limitations or a pitch count at practice, according to offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

Cowboys fans can now breathe a sigh of relief, as the Prescott injury updates had been sounding more and more concerning leading up to Week 1. After suffering a season-ending ankle injury in Week 5 last year, Prescott went through a rough offseason trying to get back on the field consistently, but it appears his time out of practice is over.

I love backing Dak, especially for Comeback Player of the Year and to lead the league in passing; especially after seeing how high-powered Dallas’ offense was last season with him in the lineup. 

The Cowboys’ defense remains a major question after allowing the fifth-most points in the NFL in 2020, so Dallas and Prescott could find themselves in a ton of shootouts this season. That would put Dak in line for a major statistical year, and given the pace that he started out at last season, he’s a great bet to take another step now that he’s healthy.
