Two future superstars are set to go head-to-head tonight for the first time ever No. 1 draft pick Cade Cunningham and the Pistons are on the road tonight against No. 2 pick Jalen Green and the Rockets.

While it is the first time the two will share the hardwood in an NBA game, they are no strangers to one another. The pair have been talked about in the same sentence since back in high school where they were constantly fighting for the No. 1 ranking in the country. They did not play in college as Green opted to play for the G-League instead. But both shined.

Debate still rages as to who should have been taken No. 1 in the draft, with many having Green ahead of Cunningham on their mock draft boards.

To say that the rivalry between these two young talents has been building for years towards this moment would not be an overstatement.

This now leaves me with one burning question. Which of these two rookies scores more points tonight?

WynnBET Sportsbook have been released props for this game so let’s take a look and what value they might offer tonight.

Jalen Green O/U 13.5 Points (Over: -120/Under: -110)

While I did state before the two hadn’t met on an NBA court, that was only half true depending on your viewpoint. The part did face off once during Summer League play and the No. 2 pick came out on top.

Green scored 25 points going 6-for-11 from the field in that game against the Pistons while Cunningham went 8-for-18 with 20 points. Green went on to average 20.3 PPG in his three games during the Summer League.

As for the regular season goes, Green is averaging 13.6 PPG with 3.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 32.2 minutes. One thing that Green has going for him is that the Rockets rank 25th in the NBA in opponent's points per game with 111.2.

With the excitement of this matchup and the pool defense on the other end, I think Green goes over this total tonight against his rival.

Cade Cunningham O/U 15.5 Points (Over: -130/Under: +100)

Despite being drafter No. 1 overall, Cunningham’s scoring numbers aren't quite there after the first few weeks of his rookie season. Cunningham is averaging 10.8 PPG and 2.8 APG though his 5.8 RPG has helped his overall stat line.

It’s not as if the changes aren’t there, but he is shooting just 23.2 percent from the field and 14.3 percent from downtown.

Adding to his potential woes tonight, The Pacers rank in the top half of the NBA in opponents points per game at 17.2 and opponents shooting percentage from two-point range.

While it is still under debate who the best player of the pair is, the best player right now is Green. I think Cunningham perks up during this game but until he can prove a more consistent shooter, the under is the play.
