Estadio Azteca in Mexico City hosts tonight's Monday Night Football NFC West showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals appear to be starting backup quarterback Colt McCoy for the second consecutive week as starter Kyler Murray was limited throughout the week with a hamstring injury. McCoy played well in their 27-17 Week 10 victory over the L.A. Rams before leaving with an injury of his own, going 26 of 36 for 238 yards and a passing touchdown.

The good news for Cardinals fans is both DeAndre Hopkins and Hollywood Brown are both expected to be active, making them both available together for the first time all season.

Meanwhile, the 49ers play in their second consecutive primetime game after taking down the L.A. Chargers in Santa Clara the week before on Sunday Night Football.

The 49ers are big favorites on a neutral site, but do those odds truly add up?

Here's an updated look at the latest odds.

49ers vs. Cardinals Odds, Spread and Total

49ers vs. Cardinals Odds, Spread and Total Movement in NFL Week 11

The original lookahead line for this game back in the summer was set anywhere from 49ers -1.5 to -2.5. When the game re-opened last Sunday following the 49ers Week 10 victory, the new opening line was set at San Francisco -7.5. Since then, it's gone as high as -9, and currently sits at -8.5.

Meanwhile, the total has dropped slightly from 43.5 down to as low as 42.5.

49ers vs. Cardinals Prediction and Pick for Monday Night Football

As a I wrote in the beginning of the week, Kliff Kingsbury is set up perfectly for this type of spot.

He is the only coach in the Super Bowl era to have a losing record as an outright favorite, but a winning record outright as an underdog. Kingsbury is just 11-14 when favored against the spread, and 17-16-1 as a dog.

Against the spread as an underdog, Kliff is 22-11-2 in his NFL career, and also happens to be 7-1-1 ATS vs. the 49ers.

Meanwhile, Kyle Shanahan has also struggled as a favorite in his coaching tenure, going just 19-28-1 ATS in this spot.

Trends aside, I still like Arizona to cover the large number in this spot because of their improved defense, and advantage over the 49ers in a few key spots: points per game, as well as takeaways per game.

The Cardinals' defense has also vastly improved throughout the year, moving up to 11th in opponent rushing yards/game. In the altitude, if they can hold off San Francisco's rushing attack and force Jimmy Garoppolo to make plays all night, I like them to hang around and easily cover the number.
