Thursday Night Football in Week 5 features an NFC West showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks in Seattle

Matthew Stafford and Russell Wilson are two of the game’s best quarterbacks, and they will get a chance to showcase why they deserve to be in the MVP conversation this season tonight.

WynnBET has set passing yards props for both players in tonight’s game, and Stafford is favored to finish with more yardage than his counterpart.

Matthew Stafford vs. Russell Wilson Passing Yards Prop

Stafford: 305.5 (Over -125/Under -115)

Wilson: 270.5 (Over -125/Under -115)

Stafford’s prop is set right at his season average of 305.5 yards per game, and he will face a Seattle team that has allowed the most total yards of offense this season.

Wilson, who is averaging 261.0 passing yards per game this season, threw for just 149 yards in the Seahawks' Week 4 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

There’s such a big gap in the props that I’m going to take Stafford to lead this game in passing yardage, but which player has more value?

Matthew Stafford vs. Russell Wilson Prediction

Seattle is allowing the fifth-most passing yards in the NFL this season, and I can’t help but think that Stafford is due for a bounce-back game after the loss to the Arizona Cardinals this week.

He’s surpassed 305.5 passing yards in two of his four games this season, and I think he’s a better bet than Wilson, who has struggled against the Rams as of late.

Russ threw for 248, 225 and 174 yards in his three games against the Rams this season, and Seattle doesn’t want to get into a shootout against a tough Rams defense.

Even if Chris Carson misses tonight’s game, I think the over on Stafford’s yardage prop is the best bet between the two quarterbacks.
