Max Holloway vs. Yair Rodriguez Odds and Prediction
UFC fans were given a treat the past two weeks, with back-to-back stacked events which was capped off with an electric main event between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington at UFC 268.
The promotion continues it's 2021 schedule this week with a free card that's headlined by former featherweight champion Max Holloway (22-6) against Yair Rodriguez 13-2 (1 NC). A heavyweight tilt between Ben Rothwell (39-13) and Marcos Rogerio de Lima (18-7-1) will serve as the co-main event.
Here are the odds for both the main card and prelim fights, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Holloway vs. Rodriguez Prediction and Pick
Max Holloway is a true number one contender in the featherweight division since losing his belt to Alexander Volkanovski. The division is Volkanovski and Holloway, and then a massive drop off to the next best fighters. There's a reason why he's the -650 (bet $650 to profit $100) favorite in this fight, and he's deserving of that price.
If you don't want to lay the -650 juice, the smart move would be to find a "method of victory" prop bet that you like instead. WynnBET has yet to release the odds on that, but Holloway to win via KO/TKO would be a solid bet to make. Rodriguez has suffered two losses in his professional MMA career, and they both came via KO/TKO.
His latest loss came to Frankie Edgar, when he was stopped via doctor stoppage at the end of the second round. This will be the first time since his win against Chan Sung Jung in 2018 that he'll have to go for a full five round fight, and he looked sluggish at this end of that bout.
If Holloway can keep up his blistering pace that he's utilized in the past, I envision Rodriguez getting overwhelmed and the referee stepping in to stop the fight.
