Mid-Week Movement: Oddsmakers Move Vikings-Panthers to a Pick 'Em
By Peter Dewey
The Minnesota Vikings will aim to get back to .500 in Week 6, as they go on the road to play the suddenly reeling Carolina Panthers.
Carolina started the season 3-0, but Sam Darnold has thrown five interceptions over the past two games, and Carolina blew a lead against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5 to fall to 3-2.
Christian McCaffrey has missed both games for the Panthers, but he could return for Week 6 from the hamstring injury that he suffered against the Houston Texans in Week 3.
WynnBET Sportsbook gave the Panthers the edge in this matchup, as they opened as one-point favorites, but the line has shifted to a pick’em as we get closer to Sunday.

Vikings vs. Panthers Prediction and Pick
My pick isn’t going to change much, as I was backing the Vikings as an underdog when these odds first came out, grabbing them at +100.
I do think that a healthy McCaffrey is a huge boost for the Panthers, but I trust Minnesota on offense a little bit more given Darnold’s recent struggles.
The Vikings haven’t looked great this season, but at least their losses have come to the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals and Cincinnati Bengals (all in one possession games).
I wouldn't be surprised if the public moves this line in Minnesota’s favor, so if you’re a Carolina backer, it may be best to wait to see if you can get the Panthers with points at home.
