New York Giants +10.5 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-110)
The betting universe must have gotten fat on the Chiefs a few years ago in 2019 when they were the top team in the NFL against the spread. Since 2020, they've been amongst the worst and here we are still paying a premium price for them!
I think the narrative for Kansas City needing a win at home is overpowering the number, which should probably be closer to +8/8.5, so getting 10 and the hook is substantial in this matchup. The Chiefs are still the league's worst defense, and haven't exactly shown up at home this year, allowing an average of just under 34 points-per-game).
While the two games the Chiefs have covered this season (2-5 ATS) have been against NFC East teams, I'm not convinced the Giants don't find a way to hang around, or at least back door cover. -- Ben Heisler
Mecole Hardman OVER 39.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Mecole Hardman is coming off of a four-catch, 28-yard performance last week, but I'll count on a strong outing after he combined for 138 yards in the prior two. On top of that, he has at least five targets in his last three games.
This is a get-right spot for KC and I expect them to push the envelope on offense even if they build up a big lead as 10-point favorites. Hardman is growing into a big role and should have no issue going over this number, maybe even on one or two catches. -- Reed Wallach
Darrel Williams OVER 17.5 Receiving Yards (-105)
Darrel Williams is going to get another start in place of the injured Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and he’s done a solid job all season as a pass catcher for Kansas City.
Williams has gone over this total in his last three games and had 27 and 30 yards receiving in his two starts this season. He hasn’t seen less than four targets in the passing game over the past three weeks, and I think he’s heavily involved tonight for the Chiefs as they try to get back on track. -- Peter Dewey
