Monday Night Football Best Prop Bets for Seahawks vs. Washington
By Peter Dewey
The reeling Seattle Seahawks hit the road in Week 12 on Monday Night Football as they search for a win against the Washington Football Team.
Seattle is just 3-7 on the year and in danger of falling completely out of playoff contention with a loss to 4-6 Washington. WynnBET has this game set as a pick’em in primetime, but I have some player props that could be worth taking if you don’t trust either of these teams as a winner.
Best Prop Bets for Seahawks vs. Washington
- Taylor Heinicke OVER 245.5 Passing Yards (-125)
- D.K. Metcalf Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-105)
- Terry McLaurin OVER 5.0 Catches (-115)
Taylor Heinicke OVER 245.5 Passing Yards (-125)
Taylor Heinicke has shown some flashes this season while filling in for Ryan Fitzpatrick, and he’s got a favorable matchup in Week 12 against a Seattle team that allows the fifth most passing yards in the NFL.
Heinicke missed this total in Washington’s win over Carolina in Week 11, but he’s thrown for over 245.5 yards in six of his last eight games, including three of his last four.
Seattle is fading this season, and if Washington is going to beat it, I expect Heinicke and company to attack through the air.
D. K. Metcalf Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-105)
D.K. Metcalf hasn’t caught a touchdown since Russell Wilson returned to the lineup, but that is bound to change in Washington on Monday.
Washington allows the 10th most passing yards in the NFL this season and the second most touchdown passes (24). Metcalf has eight scores already this season, and he hadn’t gone two consecutive games without scoring until last week.
I think the big-play wideout is due to score in this one, and I don’t hate his odds at -105.
Terry McLaurin OVER 5.0 Catches (-115)
I’ve already talked about Seattle’s struggles defending the pass this season, so if Heinicke is going to have a big game, his No. 1 target, Terry McLaurin, most likely is going to as well.
McLaurin has seen seven or more targets in every game this season since Week 1, and he’s made five or more grabs in three of his last four games.
I think McLaurin has a field day against this secondary and could see double-digit targets for the fifth time this season.
