The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders play a big AFC West divisional matchup on Monday Night Football in Week 5.

The Chiefs, who have dominated in primetime under Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, are aiming to move to 4-1 on the season after their win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in primetime last week.

The Raiders need another win to climb back from their 0-3 start, but they’ll be facing an uphill battle as 7.5-point underdogs in this game. Mahomes has historically destroyed the Raiders, but does new Las Vegas head coach, Josh McDaniels, have a game plan that can slow down the MVP candidate?

That remains to be seen. If you’re betting on Monday Night Football, it’s worth taking a look at some props in this game, as the total (51.5) suggests this could be a high-scoring affair.

Here are a few of my favorites for this Week 5 matchup:

Best Prop Bets for Raiders vs. Chiefs

  • Patrick Mahomes OVER 2.5 Passing Touchdowns
  • Darren Waller UNDER 50.5 Receiving Yards
  • Hunter Renfrow Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Patrick Mahomes OVER 2.5 Passing Touchdowns

In his career against the Raiders (eight games), Mahomes has posted a passer rating of 112.4 with 2,546 yards, 22 touchdowns and just three picks. He’s nearly averaging three scores a game against the Raiders, and now we can get him at plus money to do so in this game?

Sign me up.

This season, Vegas ranks 21st in opponent yards per play and 23rd in points allowed. That’s not going to get it done after Mahomes torched one of the top defenses in the NFL last week for 41 points.

Darren Waller UNDER 51.5 Receiving Yards

Darren Waller cleared this number in Week 1 but has seen his production decrease in each week since then, recording 50, 22 and 24 receiving yards over that stretch.

With Hunter Renfrow expected back in the lineup in Week 5, there are going to be even less targets for Waller, who has seen 24 through four games. Plus, the Chiefs held him in check last year in his one game against them (24 yards on four receptions).

Hunter Renfrow Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Renfrow makes his return after missing two games with a concussion, and he’s historically dominated the Chiefs in his career.

Last season, Renfrow had 117 yards on 13 catches and a score in a game against Kansas City and another with seven catches for 46 yards and another score.

If Kansas City sells out to slow down Waller or Davante Adams, Renfrow should be the beneficiary in a game the Raiders will have to throw plenty.
