NBA Best Bets Today (Predictions for Celtics-Warriors Game 6, Jaylen Brown and Draymond Green)
By Peter Dewey
Thursday may be the last day of the 2021-22 NBA season, as the Golden State Warriors are one win away from winning the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.
Can Boston force a Game 7 and keep my original series prediction alive? The oddsmakers seem to think so. Boston is a four-point favorite at WynnBET Sportsbook.
Here are my best bets for Game 6, where we’re playing a few familiar plays in this series:

NBA Best Bets Today
- Boston Celtics -4 vs. Golden State Warriors (-110)
- Draymond Green UNDER 20.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (+100)
- Jaylen Brown UNDER 24.5 Points (-120)
Boston Celtics -4 vs. Golden State Warriors (-110)
I’m going down with the ship in Boston.
The Celtics burned me in Game 5 in Golden State, but they are still 7-1 ATS and straight up following a loss this postseason.
I still think Boston has beaten itself in this series, and our own Reed Wallach pointed out that the Celtics have struggled when they turn the ball over 16 or more times this postseason.
As great as the Warriors have been the past two games, the Celtics have really struggled, specifically their stars, to score the ball efficiently. Boston is 3-0 in elimination games this postseason, and I think the Celtics at least force a Game 7 to keep my series prediction alive.
Draymond Green UNDER 20.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (+100)
I’ve taken and hit Draymond Green’s UNDER points, rebounds and assists in each of the last two games of this series. A stat correction helped us hit this prop in Game 5, but the same premise for taking the prop stands:
Draymond isn’t scoring the ball.
Green has taken just 20 shots over the last four games of the series and has scored a total of 25 points in the NBA Finals. He will fill up the stat sheet in other ways, but Green has cleared 20.5 PRA in just two games in this series.
His line has moved down from 21.5 in Game 6, and with even money on the UNDER I’m going to roll with this one again.
Jaylen Brown UNDER 24.5 Points (-120)
We’re playing all the classics in Game 6 and going back to the UNDER on Jaylen Brown’s points now that it’s back at 24.5.
Brown has cleared this line just once in the series and just six times in 23 playoff games this season.
The Celtics are going to need one of Brown or Jayson Tatum to show up in a big way in Game 6, but I’m going to continue to roll with this trend and take Jaylen to have a good, but not great performance in Game 6.
