Injuries have taken some of the excitement out of the Phoenix Suns-Brooklyn Nets matchup on Tuesday night, but we still have a loaded slate of games (and bets to make on them).

Nikola Jokic and Karl-Anthony Towns will face off in Minnesota tonight, and the Miami Heat will get another shot at the Toronto Raptors after their overtime thriller last week.

The Grizzlies really hurt us on yesterday’s NBA Best Bets, so let’s hope that the tide is changing in February, as we make tonight's picks!

NBA Best Bets Record to Date

  • NBA Best Bets Record: 105-113-2

NBA Best Bets Today

  • Kyrie Irving 3+ 3-Pointers (+100)
  • Dejounte Murray OVER 36.5 Points, Rebounds, Assists (-125)
  • Golden State Warriors Moneyline vs. San Antonio Spurs (-135)

Kyrie Irving 3+ 3-Pointers (+100)

This may be my favorite player prop of the night, as Kyrie Irving could get all the touches imaginable with James Harden listed as questionable.

Irving has played in eight games this season, and he’s hit three 3-pointers in five of those games. The All-Star guard has also taken six or more 3-pointers in six of his eight games.

The opportunities are going to be there for Kyrie, and if Harden sits I’d hammer this prop at plus odds in what could be a huge Irving breakout.

Dejounte Murray OVER 36.5 Points, Rebounds, Assists (-125)

Dejounte Murray has been an absolute beast as of late, averaging 22.9 points, 9.9 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game over his last 14 games since returning from the league’s health and safety protocols.

That means Murray is averaging 42.4 points, rebounds and assists per game, yet his number is set at 36.5 against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. Yes, the Warriors have the best defense in the NBA, but they are also on the second game of a back-to-back.

Murray has cleared this number in 10 of his last 14, and I think he is a great bet to come through again after getting a game off for rest on Sunday.

Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs: Warriors Moneyline (-135)

The Spurs have been one team that I’ve enjoyed betting on this season, but I think they are overvalued in this spot with Steph Curry currently expected to play.

Golden State will get Otto Porter Jr. back in the lineup for this game, but all signs point to Klay Thompson sitting on the second night of a back-to-back.

The Spurs are a shocking 5-10 against the spread when they are underdogs at home this season, and they are just slight dogs against Golden State, who has the league’s best net rating this season.

The Warriors’ No. 1 defense is going to make things tough on the Spurs and Dejounte Murray, and while Golden State will be without Thompson, Gary Payton and Jordan Poole have proven they are more than capable of filling in this season.

If Curry truly is back after a 21-point fourth quarter on Monday, I like Golden State to come away with the win.

Peter Dewey’s betting record is 105-113-2 (-16.91 units) in the NBA this season. You can find all of his picks here.
