The 2022 NBA Finals could be decided on Thursday night in Game 6, which means this may be your last chance to place a Finals MVP bet at WynnBET Sportsbook

With the Golden State Warriors up 3-2 on the Boston Celtics, Warriors guard Steph Curry is the outright favorite (and by a wide margin) to win the award.

Curry had a tough time in Game 5 shooting the ball, but he still dished out eight dimes in the Warriors’ win. Even with the down shooting night, Curry is averaging 30.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game in the Finals while shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from beyond the arc.

That’s ridiculous against the league’s No. 1 defense.

After Curry, there are a few other candidates, but how do they stack up entering Game 6? Let’s look at the latest odds:

Latest Odds to Win NBA Finals MVP

  • Steph Curry: -325
  • Jayson Tatum: +375
  • Andrew Wiggins: +1750
  • Jaylen Brown: +2000
  • Marcus Smart: +10000
  • Klay Thompson: +15000
  • Draymond Green: +25000
  • Al Horford: +25000

Andrew Wiggins’ Game 5 Performance Thrusts Him into Finals MVP Conversation

Andrew Wiggins has been the Warriors’ second-best player in this series, averaging 18.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.

What may be more impressive is Wiggins’ defensive performance, completely shutting down Jayson Tatum at times.

There’s no doubt that the Warriors wouldn’t be here without his play, and oddsmakers have responded by moving Wiggins ahead of Jaylen Brown in the odds

He’s still a long shot at +1750, but he may be worth a sprinkle if he can put up another big game. Curry is going to win this award if Golden State wins, unless something drastic happens in Game 6 (and potentially Game 7) to sway it towards Wiggins.

Still, the former No. 1 overall pick has made his mark, and earned some much-deserved respect in this series.
