The New England Patriots will head to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in Week 11 on Thursday Night Football.

There will be plenty of 28-3 jokes made in this one, and the Patriots are favored by 6.5 points on the road at WynnBET Sportsbook.

The BetSided team broke down its favorite bets for this matchup, and our own Iain MacMillan and Ben Heisler have different thoughts on who will cover in this game:

Atlanta Falcons +6.5 vs. New England Patriots (-110)

Our guy Iain MacMillan laid out all the reasons why the Falcons are doomed this Thursday night, but he’s also an Atlanta fan that’s had his heart stomped on and ripped to shreds by the Patriots in the past.

Instead, I’ll actually channel my inner-Iain for almost every other game and play the role of “Don’t Overreact Guy.”

Yes, the Falcons got destroyed in Dallas in Week 10, but getting 6.5 points at home against a public darling in New England feels like a gift. Mac Jones is coming off one of his best performances of the year and has made it into the Offensive Rookie of the Year conversation, but he’s still a rookie quarterback in a short turnaround on the road.

For what it’s worth, I expect the public to heavily bet New England, pushing this number to at least a touchdown. I think the Falcons still cover the 6.5, but I’d recommend waiting until the line moves that half point or more. -- Ben Heisler

Mac Jones OVER 1.5 TDS (-125)

The Patriots’ offense has come alive in the last month. New England is the sixth-highest scoring offense this season and Mac Jones has cleared this line in two of the last four games. The Falcons are the second-worst scoring defense in the league, and Jones should be able to take advantage of that. He’s coming off his best game of the season, which gives him good momentum. If Damien Harris doesn’t play, I like this number even more. -- Donnavan Smoot

New England Patriots -6.5 at Atlanta Falcons (-110)

The Falcons are 0-6 straight up and against the spread in their last six meetings with the Patriots, and this match up will be cursed for the rest of the NFL's existence after what happened at Super Bowl 51. Furthermore, the Falcons got exposed this past weekend when they finally had to play a half decent team. Their cupcake schedule to begin the year gave off the illusion that they're a competent football squad, but they aren't.

Atlanta's offense could hardly move the ball against the Cowboys defense, which is one of the worst in the league, and they only managed to put up a total of three points. Now the Falcons face a patriots defense that ranks fourth in the NFL in opponent yards per play. It's going to be a rough night for Falcons fans and bettors. -- Iain MacMillan

Hunter Henry OVER 30+ Receiving Yards (-110)

Hunter Henry has gone over this receiving total in seven of his ten games this season, and even though he’s cooled off after completing it in the first five games of the season, I think he and Mac Jones continue to build on their rapport on Thursday.

Henry has three touchdown catches in the past two games, and he’s coming off a four-catch, 37-yard performance against the Browns.

The Falcons allow the 10th-most yards per play in the NFL, so I expect this to be an easy game for a Patriots offense that has been rolling as of late. -- Peter Dewey
