Nine weeks down and potentially nine more to go to win your Survivor Pools!

If you took the Buffalo Bills to beat the New York Jets in Week 9, my condolences, as Robert Saleh’s team pulled off a crazy upset at home to move to 6-3 on the season.

Every week, we’re here to share our favorite picks with you to help lead you to Survivor wins, and last week our team went a perfect 5-0!

BetSided’s Reed Wallach won our Survivor Pool earlier this season, and he and Iain MacMillan are both still alive in a massive Survivor contest this season.

If you’re still alive like they are, best of luck in Week 10. Here’s who our team is targeting:

NFL Week 9 Survivor Pool Pick Results

  • Reed Wallach: Kansas City Chiefs (W)
  • Iain MacMillan: Cincinnati Bengals (W)
  • Ben Heisler: New England Patriots (W)
  • Donnavan Smoot: Philadelphia Eagles (W)
  • Peter Dewey: Philadelphia Eagles (W)

NFL Week 10 Survivor Pool Picks

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are the lone unbeaten remaining in the NFL and while backing a divisional favorite on Monday Night Football may add some stress, I'm going to do just that. While the switch from Carson Wentz to Taylor Heinicke has led to a 2-1 record for Washington, the offense continues to suffer, 25th in EPA/Play over its last three games.

I don't believe this team is going to keep up with Philly, who played last Thursday and will be back home to complete the season sweep of their NFC East foe after beating them 24-8 earlier this season.

The Eagles are 11-point favorites for a reason, they are the far superior team and should take care of business in primetime. – Reed Wallach

Kansas City Chiefs

There are only two obvious choices for Survivor Pools this week. Either the Eagles on Monday Night Football against the Washington Commanders, or the Kansas City Chiefs against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

I'm going to opt for the Chiefs, as I think the Eagles have a few holes on their team that makes me nervous taking them in survivor, mainly their inability to stop the run. Kansas City was almost taken out by the lowly Tennessee Titans in Week 9, and should come into this game firing on all cylinders.

The Jaguars rank 19th in opponent yards per pass attempt, so Patrick Mahomes should have no issue carving up this defense. The Chiefs will take care of business and we'll look ahead to Week 11. – Iain MacMillan

If you held off on using the Chiefs in Week 9 vs. the Titans, or at any point through the first half of the season, you're in luck!

The Chiefs got their wake up call in primetime on Sunday night against an undermanned Titans team that gave them everything they could handle, eventually winning in overtime at Arrowhead. While they didn't lose the game, since Patrick Mahomes became the starting quarterback, the Chiefs are 14-3 straight up following a loss, winning 82.4% of the time.

The Chiefs are also 35-11-0 at home since 2018 and on the board as a 9.5-point favorite.

If you want to hold off until Week 15 when they head to Houston, I get the play. Just remember that Eagles survivor bettors in Week 9 were on the edge of their seats for most of the matchup.

Why sweat it out when you don't need to? – Ben Heisler

New York Giants

Despite the fact I’ve called them fraudulent all season long, I’ll take the New York Giants to win this week against the Houston Texans.

This is a simple call.

Houston allows the third-most yards per carry, while the Giants are top 10 in yards per carry and run it at the fourth-highest rate in the league. This is a ground-and-pound team against a squad that can’t defend the run.

What can go wrong? – Donnavan Smoot

Las Vegas Raiders

I’ll be honest, I’m taking a major risk here backing Josh McDaniels’ team, but it’s one that could pay off down the stretch in Survivor.

The Raiders have blown a ton of leads this season, but they’re facing an Indianapolis Colts team starting Sam Ehlinger. The Colts put up just three points last week, and they fired head coach Frank Reich on Monday.

Now, Jeff Saturday is taking over to lead the team, with a staff that is without a person who has called plays as a coach in the NFL. Things will not go well.

The Raiders are 6.5-point home favorites, and I think they can figure out a way to beat this dysfunctional Colts team. – Peter Dewey
