There were more upsets in the NFL in Week 3, as favorites went just 9-7 straight up, making it another tough week in survivor pools.

For those of you that have made it to Week 4, congratulations. It only gets harder from here.

Here’s how the BetSided team fared this past week:

Only four of us are still alive through the first three weeks, but looking at the odds at WynnBET Sportsbook this week, here is who we’re taking as out best survivor picks in Week 4:

NFL Week 4 Survivor Pick: Green Bay Packers

Everyone is going to pick the Bills this week, because why wouldn't you take a 16.5-point favorite in a survivor pool? Well, I'm not going to because 1) I'm a contrarian and 2) I'm not a coward like my competitors.

I said all offseason that Big Ben returning did nothing but hurt the Pittsburgh Steelers, and that's turning out to be true so far this season. It's tough to watch as he stumbles around the pocket throwing ducks all over the field. Now he faces a Green Bay team that has momentum coming off a Sunday night victory against the San Francisco 49ers. It turns out Aaron Rodgers is still Aaron Rodgers, and I don't envision him having much of an issue against a Steelers defense that has looked disappointingly lackluster this season. -- Iain MacMillan

NFL Week 4 Survivor Pick: Buffalo Bills

There’s a lot of tough matchups in the NFL this week, but the Bills over the Houston Texans is a no-brainer.

Buffalo has outscored its opponents 78-21 over the past two weeks, forcing six turnovers. Josh Allen is coming off the best game of his season to date and will face a Houston team that is down its starting quarterback.

Davis Mills didn’t look horrible against the Panthers last week, but I picked against him then and I plan on doing it again. Give the Bills (who are 16.5-point favorites at WynnBET) in Week 4. -- Peter Dewey

People keep telling me to stop picking all the good teams to win, but I just want to survive and advance, which is why I'm going with the easy pick this week.

I won't bore you with a statistical breakdown of how much better the Bills are than the Texans across the board or why Buffalo's rush defense should shut down the primary way the Texans generate offense.

Just knowing the Bills are scoring the fourth-most points per game in the NFL and giving up the fourth-fewest points in the NFL versus the Texans being 19th and 18th respectively should suffice. Is this the easy way out? Sure. But I don't care. See you in Week 5. -- Brian Giuffra

I don't love many spots this week and I'm not going to get cute. The name of the game is to pick a winner every week, and while I don't want to lose one of the best team's in the league this early, I see this as safe. Buffalo's offense should have no issue moving up and down the field on Houston at home and winning this one with ease. -- Reed Wallach
