UPDATE: The Denver Broncos' Super Bowl odds have moved from +2500 to +1200 after they reportedly agreed to a deal for Russell Wilson.

The biggest domino of the NFL offseason has fallen, as Aaron Rodgers agreed to a new four-year extension with the Green Bay Packers, making him the highest paid player in the NFL.

It's a huge move for Green Bay, and the rest of the NFL. Rodgers is coming off back-to-back MVP seasons and led the team to the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs in 2021. Following that news, the Packers have seen their Super Bowl odds at WynnBET Sportsbook rise, moving from +1500 to +1000.

The Packers still have moves to make this offseason, including back star receiver Davante Adams, but Rodgers automatically makes them a top-five contender for the Super Bowl this season, especially in the NFC.

Broncos Super Bowl Odds Take Major Hit With Aaron Rodgers News

The Denver Broncos, viewed as the top contender to trade for Rodgers this offseason, were +1500 to win the Super Bowl in the opening odds at WynnBET. According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Rodgers considered the Broncos, but he ultimately decided to stay in Green Bay and Denver's Super Bowl odds have taken a major hit because of that.

Denver hired former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as its head coach this offseason, but he will have to get the Broncos turned around without Rodgers on the roster. Denver's Super Bowl odds fell from +1500 to +2500 at WynnBET in the wake of Rodgers' decision.
