I’m not going to hold a grudge against Steph Curry.

Yesterday, the maiden voyage of “Peter's Primetime Parlay” had hit four of the five legs of the Warriors-Mavericks same-game parlay by the end of the third quarter, but Steph Curry’s shooting struggles continued and he finished with just 18 points to lose the bet.

That’s not going to stop me from looking at the early game in primetime on ESPN on Wednesday night for another five-pick parlay.

The New York Knicks and Miami Heat will face off in Miami, with New York coming off a narrow loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.

Kyle Lowry won’t go in this game for the Heat, but they will get Tyler Herro back in the lineup. Mitchell Robinson is back for the Knicks, but they are 5.5-point underdogs at WynnBET.

Let’s break down this same-game parlay and hope we don’t get burned like we did on Tuesday!

Best Same-Game Parlay Picks for Knicks vs. Heat (+205 Odds)

  • Bam Adebayo 25+ Points, Rebounds and Assists
  • RJ Barrett 1+ 3-Pointers Made
  • Julius Randle 7+ Rebounds
  • New York Knicks +15.5 vs. Miami Heat
  • Mitchell Robinson OVER 5.5 Points

Bam Adebayo 25+ Points, Rebounds and Assists

We’re starting with one of my favorite props, a nice points-rebounds-assists look with Bam Adebayo.

The All-Star big man has been solid since returning from his thumb injury, hitting this number in all four games. Adebayo is underrated as a playmaker (3.3 assists per game this season), and he may have a bigger role with Lowry out.

Not only that, but the Knicks are 27th in the league in field goal percentage. This could be a big game for Bam on the glass and passing the ball, and he’s averaging 18.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 3.3 dimes per game coming into this matchup. Lock it in.

RJ Barrett 1+ 3-Pointers Made

RJ Barrett has clearly been the Knicks’ best offensive player this month, and he’s hit a 3-pointer in 20 consecutive games.

If the Heat have a weakness on defense it is defending the 3, as they allow the third most per game in the NBA (13.6) and opponents are shooting 35.0 percent from deep against them. Fire RJ up with his strong offensive stretch.

Julius Randle 7+ Rebounds

This is a tough one, because the Heat are one of the best teams in the NBA at rebounding, but Julius Randle has picked up seven or more boards in 25 of his last 27 games.

Randle is averaging 9.9 rebounds per game this season, and we know the minutes will be there as Tom Thibodeau tries to get his team back in the playoff race.

New York Knicks +15.5 vs. Miami Heat

The Knicks have not been good this season, but they very rarely get blown out by anyone because they play solid defense and at the slowest pace in the NBA.

The Knicks have lost just four games all season by more than 15 points, and they have lost just one game by more than 15 since Dec. 10.

I didn’t love either side in this one, so I’m going to really move this line to give the Knicks some help covering it tonight.

Mitchell Robinson OVER 5.5 Points

Mitchell Robinson went down with a sprained ankle against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, but he’s good to go in this matchup.

Robinson has been absolutely huge for the Knicks over the past month, averaging 11.2 points and 9.7 rebounds per game over his last 13 contests.

Mitch has cleared 5.5 points in all 13 of those games, and he’s gone over it in all but one game since Tom Thibodeau re-inserted him into the starting lineup. Adebayo will be a tough matchup, but 5.5 points is a good enough value for me to take it tonight.

Peter Dewey’s betting record is 101-104-2 (-12.38 units) in the NBA this season. You can find all of his picks here.
