The Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets both have one win compared to a myriad of losses. Yet one of them will get a win tonight as they face off against each other in the Lone Star state. 

Both top rookies, Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green, have struggled early this season. Cunningham has barely played due to an ankle injury while Green is having trouble finding his shot. We got a preview of how these two will go at each other in Summer League, but tonight will be the first time they do it on an actual NBA floor.

I’m going to back the Rockets in this one. Houston has talent on its roster and has been competitive early this season -- as apparent by their over .500 covering record. Houston has a problem finishing games against the better teams, but Detroit is on its level. 

Detroit is the least efficient offense in the league and unless Cunningham has a big performance, it won’t be able to keep up with Houston. The Rockets also play at the fastest pace in the league. If this game turns into a track meet, I’ll trust the Rockets.
