The Los Angeles Rams Rams are playing to not only make it to the NFC title game but also for a chance to play a Super Bowl on their home turf. In what is a strange coincidence, the only other team in NFL history to do so was the 2021 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And while the Super Bowl will be in LA with or without the Rams, it is a feel-good story that many non-Rams fans are getting behind.

But first, they will have to head to Raymond James Stadium to beat the defending champions.

Both teams are coming off dominant wins in the Wild Card round, with Tampa Bay crushing the Eagles 31-15, and Los Angeles clipping the Cardinals’ wings 34-11.

Rams vs. Buccaneers Prediction and Pick

The Buccaneers enter this weekend with an exceptional 10-2 ATS record in their last 12 games at Raymond James Stadium including last week’s victory. Straight up they are 11-1 and are one of the scariest teams in the NFL to play at their home stadium.

While they are down two of their best wide receivers, Tom Brady has proven time and time again that he is good enough to win with just about anyone. Mike Evans stepped up nicely in their win over the Eagles with nine catches for 117 yards and a TD. Gronk added five catches for a TD in a game that saw nine different Bucs record a reception.

This is where things could get dicey for the Rams as the Bucs have the No. 1 ranked passing offense in the league while the Rams are the 22nd best passing defense. The Bucs also have a very good defense most weeks and held the Eagles’ No. 1 ranked ground attack to just 95 rushing yards.

At the end of the day, if you are going to give me Tom Brady -2.5 at home against anyone, I’m going to take it. I learned through many years of hating Brady in NE that it does not pay to bet against him in most instances.

Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -2.5 (-110)
