The New York Knicks host the Houston Rockets tonight in the last game of their three-game home stand. The Knicks haven’t had the best homecourt advantage this season, going 3-5 at Madison Square Garden.

The Rockets haven’t had the best luck anywhere this season. At 1-14, they are setting up to be one of the worst teams in NBA history. Will tonight be one of the rare wins we’ll see from the Rockets or will the Knicks protect the Garden?

Here are the odds for the matchup via WynnBET.

Rockets vs. Knicks Odds, Spread and Total

Spread

  • Rockets: +11.5 (-110)
  • Knicks: -11.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Rockets: +500
  • Knicks: -700

Total:

  • 213.0 (Over: -110/Under: -110)

Rockets vs. Knicks Prediction and Pick

The New York Knicks have hit a bit of a rough patch. New York is 4-6 in its last 10 games and is coming off a home loss to the Orlando Magic. Up to this point in the season, the Knicks have shown they can be gotten on any given night. They have a net rating of 0.3, which is 14th in the league.

Despite the Knicks struggling to separate from the pack, the Houston Rockets can’t be the pick for tonight’s game. The Rockets are unequivocally the worst team in the league. They’ve lost 13 games in a row and are losing games by an average of 11.1 points per game. Betting on the Rockets on any given night, would be a shot in the dark. I don’t see a big upset happening tonight, so I’ll go with the Knicks.

Pick: Knicks -11.5 (-110)
