Rockets vs. Warriors Prediction and Odds: Trust Steph Curry Today
By Peter Dewey
Two teams on opposite ends of the Western Conference face off on Sunday night as the Houston Rockets head to Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors.
Steph Curry and the Warriors are 7-1 and atop the Western Conference following the Utah Jazz’s loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday, and they’re massive favorites against the young Rockets tonight.
Houston, led by rookie Jalen Green and forward Christian Wood, is just 1-8 on the season after losing by one to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. The Rockets have been competitive, covering the spread in five of their nine games, but it has not translated into wins so far this season.

Rockets vs. Warriors Prediction and Pick
The Warriors come into this game on a hot streak, as they blew out the Charlotte Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans in back-to-back games.
Houston, which has covered against Denver, and twice against the Los Angeles Lakers in the past week, may not have the same success against Golden State on the second day of a back-to-back.
I actually have two picks for this game. The Rockets have the third worst offensive rating in the NBA and are facing the team with the best defensive rating in the NBA. While Golden State is going to score, it is actually 1-7 on overs so far this season because of its defensive prowess.
I don’t think Houston has the firepower to compete with Curry, Jordan Poole and company on the road.
Picks: Warriors -12.5 (-110) | Warriors-Rockets Under 219.5 (-110)
