The top golf tournament this week is set to take place across the pond, the Scottish Open.

If you want my betting preview and best bets for the event, you can find that here.

But, what about prop bets? Specifically, what about the most exciting prop bet you can place? Let's take a look at the odds for a golfer to record a hole-in-one this week and then I'll give you my prediction.

Scottish Open Hole-in-One Odds

This bet is going to be a tough one to figure out. My main resource for handicapping this type of bet is taking a look at the PGA Tour Media Guide, which lists every hole-in-one ever recorded on Tour. That way, we can determine how often they've been recorded at each event.

But, the Scottish Open has only been co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour one year, so despite there being holes-in-one throughout the event's illustrious history, there's no database to find that information pre-2022. Last year, Jordan Smith recorded one and won a pair of cars as a result.

But, with -225 odds, I'm going to trust the sportsbooks here. Especially after last year's ace by Smith.

So, let's go ahead and take the "Yes hole-in-one" at -225.

Pick: Yes -225
