The Chicago Sky got a legendary Game 1 performance out of future Hall of Famer Candace Parker, and still couldn't get past the Connecticut Sun on Sunday evening.

Parker became the first player in WNBA history finish with 15 points, 15 boards, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks en route to a 19-point, 18-rebound, six-block and five-assist game. Oh, and she also had four steals in the game as well.

Nevertheless, the Sun took down the Sky for the first time in five tries on Sunday, winning a physical, grind-it-out battle on the road. Should bettors expect more of the same on Wednesday?

Here are the odds for Game 2 from WynnBET in Chicago Wednesday night.

Connecticut Sun vs. Chicago Sky Prediction and Pick

Before I break down why I'm backing the Sky in the early going yet again, I do want to recognize the job Connecticut did to steal away home court advantage from Chicago.

Despite the Sun shooting just over 37% from the floor, they shut down a Sky offense that had averaged 93.7 points a game in the postseason; holding them to a measly 35.3% from the floor. Besides Parker asserting her dominance, the rest of Chicago's lineup really struggled to get anything going offensively; limited to just three players in double-figures.

While Connecticut will do everything in its power to slow down Chicago again in Game 2, there's too much data to suggest it won't happen. Chicago lost two in a row only once this season, and only four losses in total in its home building.

As I pointed out in my Game 1 preview, during the two regular season games vs. Connecticut at home, Chicago owned a blazing 135.4 first quarter offensive rating, along with an elite defensive rating of 77.8. Even after losing the first quarter by three at home on Sunday, the Sky remain plus-27 on the year in total first quarter points at home to the Sun.

A bounce back game is on its way for the Sky in Game 2, as Parker gets the help she needs, and the Sky re-assert why they deserve to be the rightful favorites, rather than an underdog series candidate following just one game.

PICK: Sky 1Q -1.5 (-110) | LEAN: Sky -4.5 (-110)
