The most recent rivalry in golf will be capped off this week when Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau face-off in the fifth edition of "The Match".

The feud has been largely put behind them ever since the two were apart of the Ryder Cup victory for Team USA back in September. Now that the dispute is behind them for the most part, the two are still going back and forth at each other on social media, but it now has a less serious tone to it.

The Match: Dechambeau vs. Koepka is set to take place on Friday, November 26th at Wynn Golf CLub in Las Vegas. The event will go live on TNT at 4pm EST.

The two golfers will face each other in a 12-hole round of match play, meaning each hole will be worth a point. Whoever has the most points at the end of the 12 holes will be declared the winner.

When the match was originally announced, I advised to bet on whichever golfer is the underdog. Since then, my opinion has changed and I'll be backing DeChambeau at -120 (bet $120 to win $100). Koepka has been in terrible form as of late, so it's tough to back him in any capacity.

He's missed two straight cuts heading into this match, and neither event, the OHL Classic or the Houston Open, had particularly strong fields. Unless his play picks up significantly, it's going to be tough to best DeChambeau.

DeChambeau has yet to compete in the new 2021-22 PGA Tour season. This will be the first time he'll golf competitively since the Ryder Cup in September.
