These 3 NFL Team Win Totals are Way Too High

One of the best things about betting at WynnBET is that win totals aren’t only available at the start of the NFL season, but they’re updated at the conclusion of each week as well.

That means that win totals have moved for many teams after the first three weeks of the season, and I’m here to tell you which ones have moved to a number that's way too high.

Betting on the NFL is all about not overreacting to a small sample size, and these three teams’ win totals are exactly that, an overreaction.

49ers UNDER 11.5 Wins -135

The San Francisco 49ers are 2-1 after the first three weeks, but have they really looked as good as the team that went to the Super Bowl two years ago? I don’t think so.

WynnBET has their projected win total set at 11.5, which means for them to hit the over, they’d only be able to lose a maximum of four games the rest of the way. Considering they haven’t played a game inside their own division, which is proving to be one of the best in the NFL, that’s a stretch to say the least.

Two games against the Rams, Cardinals, and Seahawks, along with games against the tricky Titans and Vikings are ahead on their schedule. Going at least 4-4 in those games is going to be tough, and that assumes they win all of their games against inferior opponents.

They rank 14th in yards per play and 15th in opponent yards per play through the first three weeks, which shows they’ve been an average team at best. I can’t see them winning 12 games this year.

Falcons UNDER 6.5 wins -110

The Atlanta Falcons are truly a terrible football team. Their only win of the season came against the Giants, and they largely won the game due to New York giving up eight penalties for 53 yards, many of which came in pivotal moments of the game.

They have one of the worst offensive lines in the league, and almost nothing to boast about on defense. They’re 28th in offensive yards per play at 4.7 and 21st in opponent yards per play at 5.9.

Where are they going to get another six wins this season? They have four winnable games left on their schedule with the Jets, Jaguars, Lions, and Washington this week, but even if they win all four of those, I can’t see where they’ll find another two.

Colts UNDER 7 wins +110

If you want a plus-money bet, look no further than the Indianapolis Colts. They have been one of the biggest disappointments so far this season, and have yet to win a game entering their Week 4 matchup with the Dolphins.

They rank 25th in offensive yards per play at 4.9 and 28th in opponent yards per play at 6.3. That makes them third last in the NFL in net yards per play at -1.4.

They’ll likely get some wins against the Jaguars and Texans this season, but it’s hard to imagine how a team that’s performing this poorly would be able to squeak out eight wins this season.
