There's only two college football games available for betting action this Thursday night, but there won't be any shortage of touchdowns scored, compared to the pros in the NFL.

The UNDER has hit in 16 of the last 22 Thursday Night Football NFL matchups, and tonight's Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers rematch at the bottom of the barrel for the NFC South has a current total of just 41.5.

In Memphis, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (3-6) head to Memphis (4-5) for an AAC battle as both teams look to rebound from a tough first nine games and still make bowl eligibility at 7:30 p.m ET. The good news is the over has gone 8-1 in the Tigers' last nine games this year, so one can only hope for some more scoring on the college side.

Also kicking off at the same time on ESPN2 is Georgia Southern and Louisiana, as the Eagles and Ragin' Cajuns square off in Sun Belt action from Lafayette, LA. Both teams have been significantly better in covering the spread at home this year, however, the underdog and road team have gone 4-1 in their last head-to-head matchups in the last five games.

What sides are the right ones to be on in the two-game slate this evening?

Let's break down both matchups on the board tonight:

Tulsa vs. Memphis Odds, Prediction and Pick

If you've taken the OVER in Memphis games this season, congrats on your boatload of money!

The over is 8-1 for the Tigers this year, in large part to owning the 33rd scoring offense in the nation despite having a relatively quiet running game. Their leading rusher is Asa Martin who's compiled just 300 rush yards on the season. However, Seth Henigan has thrown for 2,520 yards and 16 touchdowns to seven interceptions.

They could be in a rough spot vs. Tulsa who's allowed 176.4 passing yards per game; 13th-best in the country. For all the praise regarding Memphis' passing game, the Golden Hurricane are right up there offensively, but Memphis’s passing defense ranks 119th.

The big question for Tulsa is whether Davis Brin or Braylon Braxton starts at quarterback against Tulane. Ultimately, Memphis’s passing defense is so weak regardless of who plays that I’m calling my shot and taking Tulsa on the moneyline. - Josh Yourish

Georgia Southern vs. Louisiana Odds, Prediction and Pick

My first inclination was to take the over in tonight's Sun Belt matchup. It's a gorgeous evening with the temperature in the mid-60s and calm in Lafayette as both squads should put up plenty of points.

Eagles quarterback Kyle Vantrease has already thrown for 20 touchdowns, including six games this year of two touchdowns or more, while also racking up just under 3,000 passing yards for the season. They rank 27th in points per game, 17th in yards per game, and right around the top 40 mark in points per play and 26th in yards per play.

While Louisiana's offense isn't a world beater, the Eagles' defense is an absolute sieve. Georgia Southern ranks 131st in yards/game, 105th in points/play and 125th in yards/play.

Even with my concerns on the defensive woes for Georgia Southern, there are two key stats that led me to back them at +3.5 tonight.

First, Louisiana Lafayette has had red zone issues all year, ranked 104th in the country, whereas Georgia Southern has done an excellent job making stops when they've needed to; coming in 15th in the country in opponent red zone scoring percentage.

Then, there's the Eagles' ability to extend drives and convert on third down, ranking eighth in the country, compared to the Ragin Cajuns' at just 66th.

With the hook, I think this is a strong spot for the Eagles to get it done on the road. - Ben Heisler
