Nevada vs. Kansas State Odds, Prediction and Pick

K-State has been phenomenal defensively in the early going this year.

The Wildcats allow just 55.8 points per game and have held opponents to 25% shooting from 3-point range.

Nevada is the best team that they have had to face in the early going, and coincidentally enough, the Wolf Pack's defense may be even better than the Wildcats. Nevada allows 56.0 points per game, 31.4% shooting from the field and 24% from 3-point range.

On offense, Nevada is led by Jarod Lucas who had 22 points last game and is averaging 17 per game. They shot 40% from three in Game 1 of the tournament, and we typically see those shooting numbers come down a bit with tired legs as tournaments go on. I wouldn’t be surprised by a very low-scoring slugfest in this game.

If Keyontae Johnson gets going for Kansas State, they should win, but the best bet is the under.

Pick: Under 138 (-110)

San Diego State vs. Arizona Odds, Prediction and Pick

The Wildcats' offense continues to play at a spectacular level, going over 100 points in three of their four games so far this year, and failing to go lower than 95.

However, their matchup vs. the Aztecs will present some challenges, considering San Diego State enters with the ninth overall KenPom adjusted defensive efficiency numbers in the country.

On the second day of a back-to-back, I'm expecting some tired legs after both teams hit the over and went at a frenetic pace on Monday evening. 166.5 in a traditional game is already a monster number, but I think we'll see a few more missed shots, even from the best offense in the country in Arizona.

Sacramento State vs. UC-Davis Odds, Prediction and Pick

UC Davis has taken some terrific shots this season, ranked 41st in the nation in effective field goal percentage, and also shooting a blistering 42.6% from three-point range; good for No. 13 in the country.

However, the line has continued to move towards the Hornets all day. I think the oddsmakers expect UC Davis to start slowing down offensively, knowing this isn't a sustainable number for the Aggies to remain at throughout the year.

I'll take the +4 while it's still available, since I'm under the belief that Vegas knows something I don't.
