Looking to bet on some baseball on Tuesday?

The BetSided team of Peter Dewey, Donnavan Smoot and Reed Wallach has you covered with some of their top plays in baseball for April 26's action.

Let's get into today's picks, with all odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:

Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox Prediction and Pick

Kansas City's offense has been weak to start the year, hitting .215 this season, and that number drops to .207 against left-handed pitching this season. Keuchel, a lefty, though has struggled to start the season. His ERA is 15.00 to start 2022 after allowing 10 runs in the first inning in his last appearance.

This comes on the heels of a 5.28 ERA from Keuchel in 2021, so the downward trend is continuing into this season and the Royals offense may be able to get on track against southpaw considering Keuhcel's concerning form.

However, the White Sox offense should have little issue against Royals starter Daniel Lynch. The fellow lefty has a 5.65 ERA in 17 starts across his first two seasons in the bigs. Now, he faces the White Sox, who have the second highest batting average against lefties (.290) and slugging percentage (.505).

I'm not interested in backing the White Sox as a favorite with Keuchel on the mound but I do like the over. Chicago should have little issue getting to Lynch and can get near this total themselves.

New York Mets vs. St. Louis Cardinals Prediction and Pick

It’s really hard to bet against the Mets right now, especially with Bassitt on the mound, as they have been one of the most complete teams in the league to start the season.

New York boasts a plus-35 run differential, and it ranks in the top-10 in several key offensive and defensive categories. The Mets are second in the league in runs scored, seventh in OPS and first in hits.

On the pitching side, New York ranks fourth in team ERA, and its staff has struck out a league-best 183 batters so far this season.

While the Cardinals are sixth in team ERA, their bats haven't been as strong as New York’s, ranking 15th in OPS and 16th in runs scored.

I think Bassitt and Hicks make for a great pitching matchup, but Hicks is only going to pitch a few innings (seven through his first three outings), so the Cardinals will need a big game from their bullpen.

After last night’s debacle, I’ll side with New York to once again show why it is one of the best teams in baseball.

Lean: Mets -1.5 (+150) -- Peter Dewey

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction and Pick

The question for every Dodgers’ game this season isn’t whether or not they're are going to win, but rather how much will they win by. Los Angeles is covering at an insane 75% rate this season. The Dodgers have covered the run line in every game they’ve won this season, and I expect them to get a win tonight.

Arizona is 1-4 against the rest of the NL West this season and its offense doesn’t give me confidence going into tonight. The Diamondbacks are 29th in OPS and hits per game, while being 28th in runs per game.

The Diamondbacks will have to put runs on Tony Gonsolin, who’s only allowed one run in three starts this season. I don’t see that happening, so I’ll back the explosive Dodgers’ offense to win and cover again.

Lean: Dodgers -1.5 (-130)
