We have a smaller, nine-game slate in Major League Baseball on Monday, but that doesn't mean there aren't bets to be made.

BetSided's Reed Wallach, Joe Summers and josh Yourish have you covered with some of their top picks in MLB for Monday, June 20, with all odds via WynnBET:

San Francisco Giants vs. Atlanta Braves Prediction and Pick

I'm going to buy low on the Giants, who have admittedly struggled at the plate this month, but do hit lefties well and have their ace on the mound.

The Giants are hitting .207 in June, 27th in baseball, but still 18th in wRC+ in that time span. Despite not hitting well, the team is still generating a decent rate of run scoring chances. Meanwhile, Logan Webb may have seen his ERA take a dip this season, but he is still the high level ace based on his underlying metrics, such as his FIP that is nearly 0.4 runs lower.

So, how will the Giants fare against Max Fried? The Braves lefty has been stellar this season with a 2.90 ERA. However, as I mentioned above San Francisco can hit lefties well, 12th in OPS against pitchers this season.

I think the Braves 14-game winning streak is still lingering into this series, but the team dropped two of three to the Cubs on the road. This is a steep price against a more than competitive Giants team with Webb on the mound.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs San Diego Padres Prediction and Pick

This is a fantastic pitching matchup as both starters are on fire.

Darvish has allowed two or fewer runs in four of his last five starts and should find success against a Diamondbacks lineup that's ranked 29th in OPS against right-handed pitchers over the last two weeks. The Padres are 4-1 in his home starts with their only loss coming by one run. He's limiting walks and striking batters out with a fire brimming from confidence:

Arizona strikes out at the fourth-highest rate in MLB, averaging nearly 10 per game on the road, so I think Darvish will generate swings-and-misses all evening against an overmatched Diamondbacks club.

But Zach Davies should pitch well too. The Padres lead MLB in OPS against righty's in the last two weeks but had two series with the dreadful Rockies pitching staff. San Diego is only 21st in OPS against right-handed pitchers on the season. With Manny Machado injured, I expect their lineup to revert to what we've seen most of the year instead of the last two weeks.

And Davies may actually be pitching better than Darvish right now. He's in the 91st percentile in average exit velocity and seems to have found his groove. After only making it to the sixth inning once in the first two months, he's thrown at least six innings in three straight starts and has allowed just 18 base runners in 20.2 June innings.

With two strong pitchers and lineups I don't trust, I'm going to the under. It's 5-0 in Darvish's home starts this year and and 9-3 in his starts overall, including hitting in five straight games. The under has hit in four straight games Davies has pitched as well, and is 10-3 in his outings on the season.

It's a low total, but back the under to improve to 20-10-1 in Padres home matchups.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Milwaukee Brewers Prediction and Pick

This is one of the best pitching matchups on the slate today. Their numbers are more similar than you might expect. Burnes has a slight edge in ERA, 2.52 to 2.62 for Mikolas. A slight edge in WHIP, 0.95 to 0.97 for Mikolas. Mikolas has one more win (5-4) compared to Burnes (4-4), but Burnes blows him out of the water when it comes to strikeouts with about four more per nine innings. Mikolas may not be able to quite go pitch for pitch with Corbin Burnes, but he has a better chance than most.

Burnes has actually not been himself in June allowing his ERA to balloon from 1.95 at the end of May. Mikolas however was one strike away from a no-hitter his last time out.

Paul Goldschmidt has been incredibly hot the past week with an OPS of 1.482, four home runs and 11 RBI. He is getting on base over half the time during this hot streak. Milwaukee doesn’t have a bat close to as hot as Goldschmidt in their lineup right now and in a close pitching matchup one swing could be the difference.

Let’s be like Paul Goldschmidt and take that big swing ourselves.
