If you're looking to bet on the July 4 action in Major League Baseball, you've come to the right place.

The BetSided team of Peter Dewey, Josh Yourish and Iain MacMillan has you covered with some of their favorite bets, using the odds at WynnBET, for the action in MLB on Monday:

New York Mets vs. Cincinnati Reds Prediction and Pick

It’s rare that we will get the New York Mets, one of the best teams in baseball, at this number against the horrible Cincinnati Reds, so we might as well jump on it.

Hunter Greene will get the start for Cincy, and he’s had to take his lumps in his rookie season, posting a 5.72 ERA and he’s allowed 3-plus runs in five of his last seven starts. His lone three-run game in that stretch came in just four innings of work. The Reds are just 3-12 in Greene's starts this season.

Meanwhile, Taijuan Walker has a 2.72 ERA and has allowed more than three runs in just two of his 13 starts in 2022. The Mets should be able to tee off on Greene to give Walker more than enough support to win on Monday.

Pick: Mets Moneyline (-155) -- Peter Dewey

Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox Prediction and Pick

Independence Day isn't the only holiday today, it's also Dylan Bundy Day! That means we get to once again fade one of the worst starting pitchers in the Majors. To be fair, you may want to stay away from fading him at home where he sports a 2.10 ERA, but it's free game when he's on the road. He has an abysmal ERA of 6.41 in away games this season.

The White Sox offense has also been hot since the start of June, ranking second in batting average at .280 during that stretch. If Bundy does manage to survive his start, the Twins will have to turn to their 16th ranked bullpen, so Chicago will never be out of this game.

I feel comfortable backing the White Sox at -124.

Pick: White Sox -124 -- Iain MacMillan

Kansas City Royals vs. Houston Astros Prediction and Pick

Jake Odorizzi is returning to the mound for Houston after sustaining a leg injury back in May. That was bad news for Houston not just because they were losing a starter, but because of how well that starter was pitching. Odorizzi made three starts in the month of May and allowed just one earned run.

Now, Odorizzi is returning to a big league mound after making rehab starts in Triple-A Sugar Land and Double-A Corpus Christi. He worked eight innings over the two starts and will likely be able to go about five innings in his return to Houston. Odorizzi has a 3.13 ERA and has struck out six batters per nine this year.

The Astros are 8-2 in their last 10 games, which includes five with the Yankees. Houston went 3-2 against New York over that stretch and amassed a 7-2 record against the Yankees and Mets, who they played back-to-back to end June. The pitching has been the reason for the recent surge from Houston, its staff has a 1.90 ERA over their last ten games.

The Royals are 26th in the Majors in team OPS, and have hit .234 in their last ten games. That was only enough offense to go 4-6, and with Heasley on the mound, KC won’t have the pitching to go toe-to-toe with the Astros.

Pick: Astros -1.5 (-125) -- Josh Yourish
