It's a travel day for many teams in Major League Baseball, but that doesn't mean the BetSided team isn't searching for the best value for you for Monday's action!

Today, our team is on a few favorites, but they're backing them in different ways. Let's jump into how you can tail these picks and make some money on this wonderful Monday:

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Odds, Prediction and Pick

These two starters are on completely different playing fields right now, as Bumgarner has been horrendous in August and the D-Backs have lost his last three starts.

Bumgarner has a 7.94 ERA this month, allowing 33 hits and seven walks across 22.2 innings pitched. That’s terrible compared to Suárez, who has a 2.52 ERA this month despite earning the decision in just one game.

The Phillies have been on fire lately, winning seven of their last 10 games, but I’d rather take the bullpens out of the equation in this game. Instead, I’m backing Suárez over Bumgarner and taking Philly to lead after five innings.

Unless MadBum turns things around in a big way, Suárez is the starter to trust here

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds Odds, Prediction and Pick

The Cardinals have been one of the hottest teams in the league since the All-Star break going 24-10 over that stretch and overtaking the Milwaukee Brewers in the Central. They have now expanded their division lead to six games and last night won a huge rubber match against Atlanta.

Miles Mikolas suffered from some regression after his All-Star game appearance this year. His ERA has gone up from 2.54 to 3.35, while his Fielding Independent Pitching has hovered right around 3.70 the entire year. The first half may have been better than expected for Mikolas, and regression has already come for him and he seems to be settling in as a quality starting pitcher in 2022, just not an All-Star.

The Reds are desperate for a quality starting pitcher and have resorted to Chase Anderson who hasn’t pitched all year. He is making his first start after having a 6.75 ERA in 48.0 innings last season.

It’s a let down spot for St. Louis after a big win against a playoff contender, but the Reds are just too bad for that to matter.

Pick: Cardinals -1.5 (-130) -- Josh Yourish

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins Odds, Prediction and Pick

UPDATE: Tony Gonsolin has been placed on the IL and won't start tonight.

You'd be a wealthy person if you just bet the Dodgers' run line every game this season. They're an absurd 79-47 on the spread, securing all but nine of their 88 wins by multiple runs. This is as dominant a team as I can remember, and I'm not optimistic the Marlins can hang around tonight.

López ranks in just the 17th percentile in barrel percentage, which is bad against an all-world offense that reads like a video game All-Star team. With an expected FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) above 4.57 in four of his last five home starts, Lopez just doesn't look sharp. If he locates his curveball well, then he could frustrate Los Angeles' batters, but he's been poor against the best lineups he's faced to this point.

It doesn't help the Marlins' cause that Tony Gonsolin is having a career year. He's allowed more than two earned runs just three times in 23 starts, and Miami ranks dead last in OPS during August.

It may sound boring to just take the Dodgers, but sometimes success is boring. Miami is 4-17 in its last 21 games as home underdogs, while Los Angeles is putting together one of the most impressive seasons by a team in quite some time.

Stick with Gonsolin, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and the rest of the insane talent in the Dodgers' clubhouse. They'll earn a convincing win yet again tonight.
