All 30 Major League Baseball teams are back in action on Tuesday night, and that means there is plenty of action to wager on at WynnBET Sportsbook.
The BetSided team of Peter Dewey, Reed Wallach and Joe Summers has you covered with all you MLB betting needs, including three of the their top picks for Tuesday's games.
Tampa Bay Rays vs. Oakland Athletics Prediction and Pick
With a total this low, I'll take a shot on the underdog.
The Rays will start lefty Ryan Yarbrough, who is making his first start of the season. Yes, the Rays have a top 10 bullpen in terms of unit ERA, but I'm not rushing to lay it with Yarbrough, who had a 5.11 ERA last season, as a favorite in his first start of the season.
On the other side, the A's will start Paul Blackburn, who is off to a roaring start in 2022. He has a 1.35 ERA that is backed up by a 1.58 FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching). Blackburn hasn't been lucky, he's just been really good, mainly with his control, limiting his walk rate to below one per nine innings.
Again, we have a low totaled game and a ton of variance on the side of the Rays with Yarbrough potentially on a short leash. With the A's starting one of their best in Blackburn, I'll back them to win a low scoring matchup.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs Detroit Tigers Prediction and Pick
The story of each of these teams' seasons to this point has been their terrible offenses. Each ranks in the bottom-10 in OPS and runs per game. Pittsburgh has scored three or fewer runs in four of their last five while the Tigers are averaging just 2.25 runs per game over their previous eight.
That's helped the under be a great bet when either team squad plays. It's 10-5 in Detroit's last 15 and 9-4 in the Pirates' previous 13.
While I'm not overly optimistic about either pitcher, they've both shown the capability to keep offenses at bay, especially bad offenses. Bryse Wilson has yet to surrender more than three runs in a single start this year and Michael Pineda tossed five scoreless innings against the Yankees in his first start.
Each pitcher struggles to limit hard contact, but that won't be an issue against two lineups that seem allergic to, you know, hitting the ball well.
Despite their woeful 7-14 record, Detroit actually has the best bullpen in baseball so far. Their relievers have a 1.97 ERA on the season, and as long as Pineda avoids trouble early then the under should be in great shape.
Especially at plus money, I'm all over the under in a game between two terrible lineups and good enough pitchers to make me feel confident.

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction and Pick
You can’t expect me to fade the hottest team in baseball, even if they are facing the Toronto Blue Jays’ Alek Manoah (4-0, 1.44 ERA).
The Yankees are throwing Jameson Taillon (1-1, 3.26 ERA) on Tuesday, but the team’s bullpen has been electric all season, so I don’t see the lesser starter being too much of a worry in this one. New York was able to capitalize on the Jays’ bullpen in Monday’s win, and that could be the case once again tonight.
Over this 10-game winning streak, the Yankees have moved themselves into the No. 2 spot in the league in team ERA, first in home runs hit and third in OPS. That’s absolutely dominant.
I will continue to back the Yanks until they lose.
