The NBA Finals are back for Game 3 between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, and our NBA experts have made their favorite picks for this game.

How should you bet on Game 3 at WynnBET? Here are three picks to consider tailing:

NBA Expert Picks for Warriors-Celtics in Game 3 of NBA Finals

  • UNDER 212 (-110)
  • Celtics -3.5 (-108)
  • Warriors Moneyline  (+140)

Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics: UNDER 212 (-110)

Both games in San Francisco were well on their way to the unders hitting home free until the Warriors came out with their hair on fire in the second half in both matchups.

Golden State has scored 73 points in the last two third quarters, leaving the door open for Boston to roar back with a 40 point 4th quarter in Game 1 to hit the over.

However, don’t expect the Warriors to have the breakout third quarter in Boston’s home building that we’ve seen over the last two games. The Warriors have a postseason net rating in the third quarter at home of +26.7. On the road? -17.2.

The Celtics’ defense picks up the intensity in their arena tonight, leading to another low scoring affair for the second straight game. – Ben Heisler

Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics: Celtics -3.5 (-108)

I didn't have any pre-series involvement because I just wasn't sure.

The Celtics injuries and apathy of protecting the rock concern me, but the Warriors have holes in their roster that can be exploited. After watching 2 games I think the Celtics are better and lean towards them winning the series, but we still have a long way to go.

Something I am more sure of is that this team typically plays terrible after a win (Game 2) and plays awesome off of a terrible game (Game 3). Boston is undefeated off of losses in the postseason both straight up and against the spread and I think we see them respond at home in a big way and grab the 2-1 series lead. – Reed Wallach

I’m sticking with my original lean on this game, as Boston has been elite after a loss all playoffs.

The Warriors handily won Game 2 behind a monster run in the third quarter, but that has been the story of this series on both sides.

Boston won Game 1 with a crazy run in the fourth quarter, but the team saw some of its role players (Al Horford 1-for-4, Marcus Smart 1-for-6) struggle mightily after leading the way in Game 1.

Can we bet on the Boston role guys to bounce back after they have played so well all postseason?

Golden State has yet to get a solid game from Klay Thompson in this series, which could sway things if he starts to find his jumper, but I don’t think Game 3 in Boston is the spot to bank on a Klay bounce-back game. The Celtics have yet to lose back-to-back games in the playoffs, and I don’t think they start now with a raucous home crowd on their side.

Boston turned the ball over 18 times in Game 2, which really propelled the Warriors (33 points off of turnovers), and I think just cleaning that up could make Game 3 much closer.

The Celtics have still shot above 40% from 3 in each game in this series, and I’ll back them to bounce-back and retake the lead in the series. – Peter Dewey

Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics: Warriors Moneyline  (+140)

Despite the series being 1-1, the Warriors are in a good position. They’ve won five of the eight quarters in this series and nobody has truly stepped up to be a consistent offense threat to help Curry.

The Warriors’ defense got a major boost with Gary Payton II coming back and that allows them to be even more versatile on the defensive end. While I do expect Horford, Derrick White and Marcus Smart to play better at home, I’m still confident in Curry’s ability to space the floor and keep the offense moving.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have yet to have two good games at the same time in this series and I think that inconsistency is what gets them tonight. Boston has to get a lot of hot shooting if it wants to beat the Warriors tonight, and I’m not going to bank on it happening. – Donnavan Smoot
