After a terrific 11-game slate of Saturday NFL action on Christmas Eve, highlighting plenty of freezing weather around the country, Christmas Day will at least warm us up collectively across the country with three games all in warm climates in late December.
Unfortunately, the actual games themselves may not provide much heat with the exception of the opening battle at 1 p.m. ET.
The Green Bay Packers found themselves back in the playoff mix after the Detroit Lions dropped their Week 16 matchup on the road to the Carolina Panthers. They'll be dealing with a team also fighting for a spot in the postseason when they face the Miami Dolphins today in South Florida.
The Packers still have a ton of work to do, but with the Giants, Commanders, Lions and Seahawks all losing today, Green Bay would be just a half game out of the playoffs if they can win tomorrow against Miami.

Two teams completely out of the playoff race highlight the middle game, as the Denver Broncos travel to L.A, to face the Rams at SoFi Stadium, while in the nightcap, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Arizona to face the Cardinals as they look to hold off the charging Panthers in the NFC South division.
